Always A Shining Example Of Justice Quest Details And Objectives

The Shining Example errand quest in Horizon Forbidden West offers players a chance to secure valuable crafting materials while navigating a high-altitude combat scenario. Initiated in the settlement of Arrowhand, this mission pits Aloy against formidable machines guarding a rare deposit of Greenshine. Understanding the sequence of objectives ensures a smooth victory and efficient resource gathering.

Starting the Quest and Preparing for Takeoff

To begin the quest, players must travel to Arrowhand and locate a Desert Tenakth warrior named Marallo. After a brief conversation where Marallo expresses his gratitude, he informs Aloy about a stash of Greenshine located high in the nearby mountains. Because the location is perched on elevated terrain, reaching it requires using a flying mount to ascend the peak quickly.

Optional Objectives and Combat Strategy

Upon arriving at the mountain summit, players can choose to complete optional aerial tactics to turn the tide of battle. Aloy has the opportunity to harvest a Horus Energy Cell from a nearby Metal Devil chassis and drop it directly onto the machines below. Using this EMP payload incapacitates several hostile units, giving players a major tactical advantage before initiating open combat.

Defeating the Machine Threats

After eliminating the initial group of grounded machines, players must clear the way to the Greenshine deposit. Interacting with the Metal Flower triggers an unexpected surprise attack by a dangerous Dreadwing machine. Players should prepare high-tear ammunition and elemental weapons to effectively dismantle the Dreadwing's stealth capabilities and heavy armor.

Claiming the Rewards

Once the Dreadwing is defeated, Aloy can safely use her Igniter to destroy the Metal Flower's vines blocking the entrance. Cleared of obstacles, the cave reveals a generous stash of high-grade Greenshine. Gathering these rare minerals allows players to upgrade top-tier weapons and armor back at any workbench.
